Occupy Farms

Coming home from Occupy farms. Driving south from wassaic. Spent the afternoon on Ecco’s farm. For a brief moment Evan, Ted, Kelly, and a few others crossed paths there.

Evan is working with Justine on his project, I’m so very happy that they are working together on the gifting platform.

It’s going to be so useful once the farms get online. We visited two farms. One near Albany called nine mile farm and one in NH called the 1780 farm

nine miles farm is an organic permaculture farm with lots of camping space. It is producing and the woman who runs it, Rebecca, lives with her husban and her father. They have a CSA and community volunteers running some parts of the farm. She could use web help.

the 1780 farm is a little more traditional. The folks there have a nice thing going on.

Wes

Just spoke with Wes. He is really kicking ass, this guy seems like the real deal (or completely full of shit). He is getting Holegencia
